No 'Stache for Stokes!

Nicky (on CSI) ditched the moustache! It makes me very happy. It didn't suit him in my opinion; made him look a little too much like Bill Paxton. That fact and the scene with daughter of the dude that buried him made it worth all seven minutes he was on screen.

I'm kind of excited for Narnia and very excited for King Kong. My drawing for today is Adrien Brody!

Drawing #2

...and here's the other half. The pages in my drawing book were too small to fit both sides of the photograph, but I liked both sides so I had to do them both.

I am very disappointed that there are no new episodes of Lost until January. Oh well. At least they let us know Sawyer's not going to die first. I am very much looking forward to January - not only because of new episodes of Lost and both Stargate shows, but because my birthday is in January! I have learned that Claudia Black is to be a regular on SG-1 for the tenth season, which I was pleased to hear. Her character makes fun dynamics and now that Jack's gone, Daniel doesn't have anyone else to fight with. That'll be really interesting to see. He's so adorable when he gets worked up.

"Alas, poor Cedric! I knew him, Hermione."

Drawing #1

I have now seen Goblet of Fire twice. My only wish is that it had been about ten hours longer. I absolutely loved it. All of the new people were excellent, many of the old ones are even better, and Ralph Fiennes was just as amazing as he always is. Miranda Richarson is fabvulous. And I liked how delightfully insane that young Barty Crouch guy was. That snake-flick he kept doing with his tongue was perfect. I got to see most of my favorite scenes, like Draco Malfoy, the Amazing Bouncing Ferret, and the scene with Moaning Myrtle (though I didn't expect it to be quite THAT awkward!). And did anyone notice Cedric Diggory had his head in a boy's lap? Being a slasher is so much fun!

I drew this picture yesterday and it's instantly become one of my favorites. I don't have very many at all from this fandom yet -- most of them are currently from Stargate, but I intend to fix that. I have many more from Harry Potter and loads from Lord of the Rings that I'm itching to draw. Young people are kind of interesting to draw; their faces are pretty smooth and it's hard to include the amount of detail that I usually can with older subjects. Nevertheless I love how this picture turned out, and I intend to post more in the future.
